David Dennis
Principal
David has 14 years of project delivery experience in the power and energy industry. This experience includes 5 years consulting with Jacobs consulting’s transmission, distribution and generation groups, 3 years working in the Solomon Islands and 7 years with Circular Solutions. His experience includes project management or director roles in solar farm, battery and hybrid EPC projects in remote locations in Australia and in the Pacific.
Lance Ihaka
Project Manager
Lance leads from the front. With 37 year experience including 10 in American Samoa and four years in the Solomon Islands he has a reputation in the Pacific for getting things done right and getting them finished on time. Lance is exceptional at driving projects in tough environments and both training and supporting local participants, without compromising on quality or safety. Lance’s experience is broad including mechanical, electrical and marine projects, making him ideally suited for hybrid projects.
Gary Saverin
Electrical Foreman
Gary is a safety focused Site Manager with 20 years intensive experience in electrical installation and commissioning across diverse industries including mining, construction, service, Australian Defence Force, rail and renewable energy. Gary’s dual-trade training in electrical and communications and experience leading the electrical team on some of Australia’s largest solar farm projects gives him the technical skills, versatility and experience to manage remote renewable energy project sites. His strong leadership capabilities and people skills allow him to navigate the social aspects of remote power work.
Mohsen Elnashar
Lead Engineer
A self-motivated power system professional with 14+ years’ experience mainly focused on hybrid, gas and diesel power generation applications with high exposure to marine systems. Mohsen has a techno-commercial skill set developed across various industries including oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, building services, health care, defence and mining in both Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Joel Davey
Senior Engineer
Joel has extensive experience in detailed design and commissioning of substation and power station projects in the Pacific Islands and in New Zealand, including a number of projects funded by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. He is proficient across the full spectrum of high voltage and low voltage design, integration and commissioning including primary, secondary and SCADA systems
Thomas Hodges
Project Engineer
Thomas has four years’ experience working as a Project Engineer on hybrid power projects with Circular Solutions. Thomas’ attention to detail, his ability to adapt and his effective team work were developed during his time in elite sport. He has transferred these skills to his work life and they have allowed him to quickly become a key member of the Circular Solutions’ business development and delivery teams.
